How to move in Pisa
By car
Pisa is small and ancient town, definetely not designed for cars, with several pedestrian areas. Usually parking is a problem, and most parking areas are with pay-meters.
By bus

By taxi
Both the airport and train station have taxi stands.
Besides usual taxi, a cheap way to go from the Airport to the city center is the so called "taxi collettivo".
The taxis used for this special service are different from the others and easy to recognize, they have a special badge and special parking areas.

On foot
You can walk to the conference site from almost any location in downtown Pisa.
