This unique conference highlights the latest breakthrough in the field of solid-state laser and scintillator materials.
ISLNOM-5 will continue the tradition established by the previous meetings in Singapore (1997), Lyon, France (2000), Keystone, USA (2003) and Prague, Czech Republic (2006).
This conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of the latest developments in basic and applied research in the broad field of optical and optoelectronic materials, including material preparation technologies, characterization and application related issues.
In the past, the conference has recalled more than 150 researchers from tens of countries of Europe, Asia and America.
The conference will be held in Pisa, the beautiful city of the Leaning Tower, that lies a few kilometres from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The Conference management is provided by the Dipartimento di Fisica "E. Fermi" of the Pisa University.
World-renown researchers present and discuss the latest developments in the scientific community.
The conference site is Polo G. Carmignani, located in Piazza dei Cavalieri, in the historical center of the town.
